Mrs Caroline Robinson

Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor:

BA (Hons)

Hello and warm welcome.

How can I help?

I work with and help individuals and couples with life challenges and issues like stress, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, work stress, emotional dysregulation, trauma, PTSD, loss, bereavement, grief, relationship conflicts, marriage conflicts, anger management and amongst others. I work with adults and young adults, and I have worked with and helped many people struggling with varied issues including ADHD, domestic abuse, emotional dysregulation and Autism. I work globally online and have helped people across continents.

I aim to provide counselling therapy that will meet your individual need in a safe, accepting, and non-judgemental space. In my consulting office you can expect to be valued and warmly accepted, and you can enjoy a nurturing space where you can freely explore the difficult and stressful issues in your life and receive genuine compassion.

I will work with you compassionately and empathically. You will have freedom to talk about your concerns and explore them freely to find ways that are specific and suitable for you to restructure your life and develop a personal and better pathway to a more purposeful, meaningful and brighter future.

I have my own lived experience, and I understand life’s difficulties and challenges you may be going through. Understanding that life offers each person a different challenge helps me accept who you are and where you are coming from and helps me to be compassionate and empathic when working with you.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with years of experience helping people work through various life problems. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am trained and equipped by my training with the skills and knowledge to understand you as human being and understand your challenges and how to help. And my life experiences help me relate to what you are going through.

My Practice

My practice is underpinned by Psychodynamic approach, but I use other approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-centred, Humanistic, and other theoretical skills like Transactional Analysis (TA), Existential, Gestalt, emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness breathing to meet your individual therapy need. I believe one size does not fit all because we are all unique individuals and our needs and struggles are different. And please do not concern yourself with the technical words, you may know or not know about them. My focus is on working with you on what will work for you.

Special interest: I have special interest in working with: Relationships (personal and interpersonal), Couples counselling, Loss, Bereavement, Grief, Behavioural issues, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma & PTSD, and support for survivors of abuse and those going through abuse. â€‹â€‹
